Save the date: June 3, 2007!

Back by popular demand, the 2007 Newton Garden Tour will delight local gardeners on Sunday, June 3. "Yes You Can!" is the theme of this year's tour—with inspiration for amateur and professional plant-lovers alike in each garden on the tour. The Newton Garden Tour, last held in 2004, will feature 12 spectacular Newton gardens, open for visits from 10 am to 4 pm.

This year's tour is organized by co-chairs Margaret Ford and Catherine Matero. "The garden tour includes gardens both large and small, designed by professional landscapers as well as homeowners, throughout the city of Newton. Whether it is plants, sculptures, water features or architectural structures, each of the gardens selected for the 2007 tour includes its own unique elements and charm. We want people to visit the gardens and see things they can do in their own gardens—either themselves or with the help of a professional, as they wish."
